One fact about me that sums up my entire personality: my favorite snack is cereal. I love it so much that my senior honors thesis was, in fact, a cereal shop.

But if you’re here to learn a little more, keep reading. From a young age, I was drawn to design. Long road trips spent memorizing billboards paired surprisingly well with a photographic memory and a constant sense of curiosity. In high school, I split my time between yearbook and computer science, which is where things really clicked.

At one point, my yearbook teacher pulled me aside and very casually suggested I illegally download Adobe so I could start my own graphic design business. So… I did. My first logo was for a local dance studio, created in Photoshop (audible sigh). We all start somewhere.

I went on to study Graphic Design at Texas Christian University, where I finally got to put my self-taught skills to the test and expand my creative horizons. Graduating in 2020 came with its own set of challenges, but I was fortunate to land a role in veterinary services where I was able to grow, adapt, and thrive, eventually leading me into hospitality.

Now based in Austin, Texas, I’m eager for new opportunities that continue to challenge me and allow me to create thoughtful, impactful designs that leave a good taste in your mouth.

Cheers!

If I Could Design Anything…

One day, I’d love to design a cookbook.

While I may not be the one creating the recipes, I know someone in my hospitality circle will eventually craft something beautiful, and I’d be honored to bring it to life through design. There’s something special about transforming food into a tactile, visual experience people can cook from for years.

I’ve also always wanted to design more packaging labels, especially in the world of alcoholic beverages. I’m a firm believer in shopping by the label in the wine aisle, and I love how a bottle can tell a story before I’ve even opened it.

I’d happily join in on the fun… and of course, conduct a few taste tests for research purposes.
